Our Origin Story
AB Global was founded in 2018 by Brittany Bollinger Boyle, who began working in the background screening industry as a teenager. Recognizing critical gaps in the industry — including cutting corners, under-delivering, and a lack of client-focused service — Brittany assembled a team of industry leaders and icons to create a new kind of background screening provider that is now the Gold Standard in the industry. Her vision was to create a profound shift in the industry and raise expectations by doing things the right way and taking excellent care of the client. The average screening industry tenure of an AB Global employee is 10+ years and they are all FCRA certified.
A key component of AB Global is Screening University, run by Curt Schwall. The purpose of Screening University is to educate HR professionals about background screening so that they have a better understanding of how background screening actually works and what level of service they should be expecting from their provider. This peek behind the curtain brings a welcomed transparency to an otherwise opaque industry.
