Quality Audits and The Gold Standard

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Section 607(b) states: “Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates.”

You cannot expect quality if you do not inspect for quality. AB Global has assembled processes and procedures to ensure employers receive top of the line results when it comes to accuracy, compliance, and turnaround time. Our entire team is dedicated to providing the applicant and employer with top of the line service – and we call that Gold Standard.

Our Gold Standard quality audit program includes more than the traditional researcher vetting and testing, review before releasing results, and processing disputes. AB Global monitors if our database vendors have made changes to their product/settings that impact the consistency of the results being received. We also take the time to review record samples to verify that our platform is accurately forcing the correct disclosures, authorizations, product specific forms, and adverse action notifications. Dispute data is reviewed for commonalities. Our internal trends report analyzes vendor and product totals and turnaround times comparing to the previous quarter and year.

The most recent improvement to the quality audit program has been putting procedures in place to satisfy PBSA Accreditation Clause 2.18 regarding automated fulfillment – we now compare the source data of credit reports, motor vehicle records, national criminal record database, and social security trace to the reported information to ensure there is no data degradation.

In the automated fulfillment age, all it takes is one setting change or one update to upset the whole apple cart. The longer it takes to detect the issue, the greater the number of customer service calls, disputes, and corrections required.

Our goal is to detect non-conformities as fast as possible, then analyze the data to determine the root cause, and act upon any opportunities for improvement or take corrective action when necessary.

One measurement of effectiveness our entire team should be proud of is our overall component accuracy rate based upon dispute data is 99.99%. No one or nothing is 100%, but the entire AB Global organization puts forth the effort to achieve Gold Standard perfection.

Electronic drug test registrations are a powerful tool for modern hiring and workforce management. They allow organizations to send candidates to testing locations quickly, track completion in real time, and maintain clean digital records for compliance. One detail that is often overlooked, however, is the expiration date attached to each registration.
A background check at the time of hire is a critical first step, but it's only a snapshot. Employees' circumstances can change long after that initial screening, and organizations that rely solely on pre-hire checks can find themselves exposed to risks they never saw coming. That's where post-hire monitoring comes in.
When conducting a background screening, one of the most critical components is identifying an applicant’s AKA, or “Also Known As” name. An AKA can include: Maiden names Nicknames Previous legal names Alternate spellings Aliases that an individual has used throughout their life.
